Why hire me to coach you and your team through the change process?

Transition is often about identifying those affected in the organization and supporting them to let go of the past and move on; to learn to thrive in a new situation.  As an experienced healthcare leader, I have survived and experienced success through the rapid and constant changes that occur in our complex, technologically based, and information overloaded environments.  Too often change is planned with little or no planning for the "human element" of the change.   Through all the chaos, I have learned the art of flexibility, the comfortable spot of no rules, the strength of the team, understanding the importance of communicating purpose, authentic acknowledgement of people's feelings, and the science of just jumping in and getting it done.

My role in transitions:

Preparation and support of staff for execution of clinical information system

FTE reduction and reallocation

Planning clinical flow during move of ICU and Surgical Unit

Planning and closure of patient care areas

Development of disease specific case management models

Establish development plans for nursing leaders

Setting quality standards for the delivery of patient care

Initiation of customer service standards

Established  hospital based Workforce Development department

Initiation of patient throughput model
